Connected by HubSpot, INBOUND is a four-day event that brings together thousands of business professionals to develop meaningful connections and explore new paths to build what’s next. Attendees of INBOUND look forward to inspiring keynote and panel discussions with global changemakers and industry thought leaders, networking with peers, and building lasting relationships.

Role:

  • Mapped attendee journey by creating floor plans event layout.

  • Collaborated with creative and production teams to develop event concept and design.

  • Conceptualized and designed brand booths.

  • Led a team of 3 spatial designers.

  • Worked directly with fabrication vendors, and streamlined fabrication documents process for increased accuracy during production.

At AgencyEA, we joined forces with HubSpot to produce INBOUND, evolving the experience into an uplifting and dynamic movement that inspires and cultivates community. How do you build more than an event, but a revelatory experience for modern professionals? Creating a four-day experience packed with speakers, purposeful breakout sessions and interactive activations that allow attendees to build genuine connections and community.

Creating an unforgettable, dream-like Inbound world

An emphasis on playful experiential elements, interactive installations, and impeccably curated environments made for a truly unique and memorable INBOUND experience. EA created the overall vision and aesthetic, including designing all of the environments and elements — from the stages to the sponsor activations – all built around the event’s theme: Built by You, Connected by HubSpot.

A stage strategy built for broadcast

Stages were designed to cater to virtual and in-person attendees. Breakout stages were scattered throughout the show floor and designed to further enhance INBOUND’s festival like atmosphere.

Playful explorations - concept stages

When exploring stage concepts we looked at radical ways to depart from traditional keynote stages while aligning with changing attendee behaviors and needs. Broadcast and plug and play were key elements being addressed in the concept stages - giving attendees the freedom to choose their location during key note sessions.
